Content Writing Tips - How To Write Great Content

Creating content for your website, blog or even your video is crucial when it comes to ranking on Google.com. If you rank on the first page of Google, your product or service will get more traffic, which in turn could mean more money or subscribers.

Content writing is not a specific science. There are many different seo parts to piece together which combine in a strong seo website, blog or video. Of course this takes a lot of time and as I always say, the more time put in, the better the results. Also if you get it wrong and do negative seo ideas, you could harm the ranking of your Google search listing bring a negative response to your media.

So what are the fundamental parts of content structure and seo marketing you need to ensure you do to get maximum exposure through the search engines. Here is my recipe or list of things you need to do to get it right.

1. Written Content Write at least 400 words to the main body of your content on the leading page or video description. Make sure you use 4 or 5 of the keywords you would like to rank for on the search engines and include them in the content. Always make sure you insert them in a natural written way, not just keyword stuffing. Don't use each keyword more than 3 or 4 times. 3 is enough on average.

2. Pictures or Graphics Include keywords in any pictures you use on the site or video thumbnails. This is a little know gem that helps your seo ranking. Most people can't be bothered, but believe me it helps big time.

3. Interaction. Social media interaction is now one of the most important factors to help any media climb the ranking tree. Try and encourage comments or likes and subscriptions. If you can't get any social media interaction, try to put some new content on your blog or website at least once a week, or even better every other day. This does not apply to much to videos as new comments works best along with the time watched.

4. High ranking Backlinks - We have partly answered this problem above but you can also help this process once you have published your site or vid. The key is to not to over do it. Quality backlinks are better than 1000 spammed backlinks. All social media sites have a very high PR (Page Rank) and lots of internal page linking juice that ends up at your site, that is why Social Media is so important these days. When I have completed a website, I backlink to the following by simply posting a quick message or picture that contains the url of my site. Here are the main ones to do this from:

Concentrate on these for great results. Once you have put a link (or picture with a link) back to your site from these social media sites, you can also ping your url to http://pingler.com which helps the search engine crawlers pick up your site quickly. After all this, you about done for now. Note, place new links or comments on all social media sites weekly to help your seo on a continuing basis. It all helps.
